With a jupiter 8 and a roll of TMax 3200.

The Jupiter 8 has terrible back focus at close distances, so it' crud for portraits and close work. Maybe I'll try shimming.

Nice photo essay. The tmax looks like its quality varies a lot by amount of exposure compared to the 400 version.

Yes it does. when exposed right, it's a little grainy but all right. But when underexposed, it gets so grainy you don't even have true blacks anymore.
