Tale of two lenses....

Got CV Ultron and CV 75mm Color Heliar from Mr Gandy this past week along with some accessories and must say I am very happy with the choices. The first thing I noticed with both lenses is the wonderfully short focus throw. I have been used to my 50mm Summicron's long, long throw and this short throw is a delight. They are really beautiful lenses in chrome and they look absolutely stunning on the Canon 7s and the M2. Can hardly wait to go out to test these puppies.

Which Ultron, Tony?

I have the 28 Ultron and the 75, and really enjoy both. Have fun!

Sorry, Ken I thought Ultron referred only to the 35mm lens which is what I have. Had no idea there was a 28 Ultron also. Just got back from taking a quick down and dirty 12 exp. Waiting for the 1 hour lab to get it done.I will probably just use these with the Canon 7s, so much easier than using an adapter. I've seen some truly wonderful images on this forum with both the lenses and the 28mm also, all great performers.Hope i do them justice.
