I just received a notice from Apple for a really great offer through their Mac On Campus program. If you are a teacher you can buy their new Color Munki calibration device and software for $99! This is a new combination of the X-rite and Pantone colorimeter. It can even be used to calibrate your printer. The Color Munki has a retail price of $500 and has some excellent reviews on line. The literature says it is available to any qualified educator, so I don't know if you actually have to teach photography to qualify. Usual disclaimer, I have no affiliation, etc.
