I am wondering if anyone here had come across any technical drawings with measurements on the kiev external mount.
I have found a machinist here in Shanghai and would like to ask him to make a few rear caps for J-9 and J-12 just to see if he can hold decent tolerances. I will probably ask him to make it out of nylon or some aluminium alloy. Would also appreciate if anyone have a Zeiss Ikon rear cap can let me know what material it was made out of.
Whilst I can reverse engineer the mount, it would be much easier if I can just copy the measurments from a technical drawing, I persume the patent for Contax mount was voided after the war and should therefore be in the public domain somewhere.
