Tell me what this is please?

I recently acquired an old camera case with an old beat up leica, and some accessories. I've searched the inter webs and found a macro focusing adapter that looks similar but not the same. I'm guessing its focusing screans for 35 or/or 90 mm lenses. Am I right?

That look like a focus slide for a Leica Copy device. You mounted the camera on top (screw mount) and then a lens at he bottom. You used a viewing "cone" on the top - focussed the image on the baseplate and then slid the camera over for the image. It worked, but was rather clumsy.

You are missing some parts if this is all there is, but they are not expensive.
