So, I had a brain fart this morning that cost me a frame of Neopan 400, oh well
My main camera is a Nikon F2AS, and after fighting with it the past year, I've gotten used to running fully metered manual, and turning the shutter dial towards the LED that's lit

So of course, this morning, when using my Yashica FX-D/35 1.4 Distagon combo, I wanted to make sure the lens is wide open (I was using aperture priority). No problem, turn the aperture ring all the way left (counter clockwise). And because I didn't bother to turn the meter on, I stupidly stood there and waited out my 3 second exposure... (F16 instead of F1.4)

Won't make that mistake again...I hope

Yep--Nikon has been "backwards" since 1959--or maybe even before. And Leica did the same thing--almost--with their M6 and M6TTL cameras--the shutter speed dial on the TTL turned in the opposite direction from the M6...I'm sure there are even more examples. The F2AS is one of the best...
