many of our sponsers are hidden sinners

1. Leica - I leica shot some pictures (shameful)
2. Cameraquest - secret for "go get'm and shoot'm"
3. Popflash.photo - so obvious what pop means
4. Gordy camera straps - something to do with whipping
5. Robert White - wasn't he a serial killer in Boston, er or wasn't that Jack the Ripper, oh well close enough.
6. Shphoto.de - in Russian means " I shot it good" (sinner)
7. Photovillage - the town that shoots (oh the horror)
8. Leicatime - Everyone knows Luigi wouldn't hurt a flea but he leica to.
9. Zeiss Ikon - Ikon put you on Zeiss. (brrrr, mean)

We bow our collective heads in shame (sic)

Ok, I got it out of my system. I feel much better.:D

YES!

And have you noticed that if you re-arrange the letters of 'Rangefinderforum' you'll receive two insidious messages!

'Err...find a gun for me'

&

Fine, murder of Gran.

All of a sudden, there are two postings here about "gun terminology". Are we suddenly losing sight of linguistic possibilities? Most people accept terminology used in a particular context - as long as it isn't vulgar or demeaning.

Speaking of rearranging letters --
1. Dormitory - dirty room
2. Presbyterian - best in prayer
3. Desperation - A rope ends it
4. The Morse code - here come dots
5. The eyes - they see

And we've all played the game of taking a fairly long word and seeing how many other words you can make up from the letters, using each letter only once.

Too much time on your hands

Too much time on your hands

You guys have too much time on you hands. The owner of a local camera shop just called and is willing to loan my a new Sony A100 to test drive. I think my time will be filled, making images, can't say the s***t word here.

Equally funny is how the Microsoft Word dictionary once tried to correct a "mis-spelled" word: 'Disneyland' to 'disenchantment'

" Lucas Prince of Darkness " and British cars ... oh dear why did you have to bring back all those memories, just as i was starting to get better.
Italian motorcycles have a similar wiring demon ... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
I like rifles and guns and the terminology is older than photography and it pops up in all sort of everyday terms.

Actually "fiat" is Latin for "it's done" or "it's made." Perhaps as in "we're done and now it's your problem"?:D

I know a kid named Lucas who can be a bit of a hellion, but not quite Satan. His Pa is a good photographer (though of the Canon SLR & Pro Zoom sort).
