Several weeks ago, after taking advice from you guys, I took a chance and ordered a Iskra from the Ukraine, - it landed on Saturday. Nice overall condition, but focusing stiff as hell, and r/f a little 'out' on distance,- an afternoon 'on the bench' had everything working sweetly, and ready for Sunday morning testing, with a roll of HP5+. I shot nothing in particular, but was not dissapointed! - this is a real nice handling camera, and the lens is great!! - trying some colour next, - but first back to my shop and lathe, and turn up some 33mm adaptors, to take my push on filters and shade!. BTW....film counter, winding and spacing are fine! - I had visions of having to put a nasty little red 'porthole' in the back !!.
