...to me yesterday. I received my second Fed-2, this one from the Ukraine, and a J9 from RFF forum member Chaser in Canada. On top of that, I got in three black light bulbs for use in alternative printing (cyanotypes).

Fed-2: This one is cleaner than the first one and the rangefinder actually looks nuts on! I'll get a ground glass on it to be sure, but that's nice to see. The PROBLEM (and you knew there would be one...) is that the slow shutter speed is fubar. 1/30 acts like B. 1/60 seems ok, hard to tell really but it seem proportionate to 1/125th.
Any ideas for this?

J-9. I've seen pictures out of this lens, so I think I'll be ok here. I'd like to clean it up a bit (seller did say it wasn't a looker, and really it's not that bad at all). Mostly the aperture ring is a bit stiff. I can see plenty of yellow in the nooks and crannies. A little alcohol will clean that.
Can I remove the aperture ring with any hope of getting it back on correctly?
