The new Oly EPL9 looks kind of cool, I wonder if it is all form over function though?
Their digital Pen-F looks the best in the retro department but is more costly than I want to spend.

On a side note, I am glad that Steve Huff is still into reporting on new camera gear instead of his other hobby of mumbo-jumbo spiritualism through a guitar amp and two effects pedals, via amplified radio perpetual scanning noise or some tablet app program that has repeating gibberish words on and on.

Looks good to me. I may get one. I am still enjoying using my E-PL1. This new one must be "9 times as good"

The M 4/3 cameras need excellent (very) wide angle lenses to be practical.

I presume you mean "excellent (very) short focal length" lenses. Luckily, Olympus lenses are generally excellent.
Sadly, my E-PL1 died a while ago. The E-PL7 I bought later is still working well.

It makes most sense to buy M 4/3 lenses and not use FF lenses.
