Thanks for posting! I'm using the iPhone app a lot to plan ahead shoots (e.g., to capture the moonrise over a building, when the sun shines into a narrow street, etc).

Lots of information. If you use the slider you see the bearing and elevation of sun and moon change between rise and set. You can toggle between map and aerial photo and plan where to set that tripod when the next full moon rises.

I'll be using it again this Sunday. There's a building I need to photograph with one street facade fully lit by glancing sunlight, minimum of parked and passing cars and while there are still no leaves on the trees. TPE tells me when to turn up. It's so useful.
