I am starting to think buying Leica accessories is akin to buying a very expensive car, only to realize the engine is an option... In my quest to make an Elmar 50 a bit easier to handle when changing apertures, I have been looking for a VOOLA. I found one, only to discover that I need another thing to make it work. (the VOOLA falls off otherwise)
So off to find a SOOGZ. Or could a FISON hood stop the VOOLA from falling off?

The SOOGZ is a 39mm filter adapter [you have to buy a separate hood like the 12585 or a 39mm equivalent like heavystars @ eBay sells] that clamps on to an A36 Elmar the VOOLA is a device to make changing apertures easier in conjunction with the SOOGZ. The FISON is a compact clamp on hood for the Elmar 50/3.5 A36 mount. I'm not sure the VOOLA works with it. It's not too difficult to change apertures with the FISON and it's main advantage is minimal blocking of the VF on Barnacks.
