For future reference, The Vortex is one cool spot for street shooting...all about Little Five Points in Atlanta. Things don't crank up until noon and the activity goes until about 2:00am.😱

Oh, the interior is decorated with really neat stuff...takes an hour to check all the items out including this painting on the ceiling above one's head:

Wow, didn't realize it was a 3D painting...the DOF on the 80 Lux is rather shallow...

The burger was excellent. Best I've had lately. Most places in Delaware can't compare. After Dave and his wife left, I wandered around the area for a while. For the Philly guys, think South Street. Neat shops, bars and food. I'll go back for sure.

I'm planning on being in Atlanta in early May. Hope we can get together and visit the Vortex - never been there!

The images above were around 10:30am to 11:00am...very quiet. After noon, there were thousands of people all up and down the street, in the bars, sitting at sidewalk cafe tables and everywhere!

I imagine being there at night is an experience...😛
