Wise choice for the 35S. Perfect camera for me. I have 4 Tessars and 6 Sonnars. 35S's f2.8 is just adequate for indoors with ASA400 film. F3.5 is a hair slow IMHO.
Well as you know I love Rollei, I own a 35T, a 35B and a soon to arrived German Rollei 35 original, well now, (after a GAS attack), a Rollei 35S is on the way![]()

thanks for the reply, 2.8 is such as handy wxtra stop for indoors but the narrow depth of feild always scares me a bit.

Yup, currently my Rollei 35 Classic is my only 35mm camera, and I think it'll stay that way. For me a 35mm camera needs to be pretty small, or I may as well take my Zeiss Super Ikonta, and the Rollei really fits the bill.

OK, that's it, I've taken my Rollei 35S off that auction site. I like it too much

Thanks. The advantage of having several is that whenever one of them has a problem, you can always check others to figure it out. If I only had one, I wouldn't know what a working one should be like.
