This looks kind of cool

I did have the Hexanon 21-35f3.4 for several years. It is a very good performer, but it is HUGE. The filtersize is 62mm and realistically a 35f3,4 is not that attractive. The other problem was that there was no indication in the finder of a Leica M6 to tell you what focal length you were at. It only kicked in the 35 frame. The external finder was good, but again, no indication of what you selected. Too many shots that I thought were 35 turned out to be 21 and vice versa! Now, today with the R4M/R4A from Bessa it would make more sense except that large front barrel would obscure a good 30-35% of the finder. Not being one to keep stuff that I dont use, I passed it on to a friend and on his M8 it should be an interesting combination.
