The two outdoor shots were with Tmax 400, the inside one was Tmax 3200 at EI-1600. Leica M4, 50mm Summicron

I've wanted to do a set of creepy old dolls myself, so I really like these! Love the B&W and your choice of composition.

Did you have the dolls or get them from a thrift store or something?

Very cool...

I actually found them all rotting away in the house under piles of trash and broken furniture! They're the true inhabitants of the house. They're still there, I didn't take them home with me because they had so much dirt and even bugs on them (back in the fall before it got cold)

Superb images, Chris, in terms of framing, tonal range and so forth. And this isn't a criticism but rather an observation, and that is there's something unsettling about the images. Not creepy, mind you, but sort of a feeling of abandonment and loss. Well done, sir!

That's how I feel. They were in the house when I went inside, someone abandoned the dolls there. Its very sad. One is missing her head, another has a leg torn off, and all are filthy, moldy, and they had bugs on them when I first found them in October. No little girl would forget her dolls, right?

Indeed. Which makes these abandoned dolls all the more intriguing. The story of their abandonment is left untold, leaving much to ponder.

Again, wonderful work.

I don't know what it is, but I find abandoned dolls disturbing! :(

However, Chris, you have done an excellent job of conveying the feelings. When I look at these images and feel saddened and creepy, I know the photographer has done something right.

If I am making sense here ...
