Time to put away the toy cameras and get out the serious metal.

I just looked at my fridge, and there are way too many rolls of 120 and 220 on the shelves.

I think it is going to be a Hasselblad / Rollei / Voigtlander / Zeiss Super Ikonta winter.

Oh, didn't think of that. So maybe the Bessa II and Super Ikonta will only go to Christmas parties.

I hope you're really happy with your new Alpa.

What on earth is a 'serious' camera? Expensive? (I'd recommend Alpa.) Heavy? (Try De Vere.) Complicated? (Try Exakta.)

Bellows freezing and cracking? Never heard of that one before, at least not with any view cameras.

Good thing nobody told Perry-Amundsen-Scott-Sella and other 19th-Century polar and mountain explorers with bellows cameras!
