Does anyone have a cure for the viewfinder's eyepiece poking into my back while I go hiking? I can carry it front sometimes, but it's a little tough when scaling mountainous terrain. Keeping in the fanny pack all the time is a hassle....HELP!

You mean the whole protruding viewfinder assembly? I can't say I've ever noticed it being a problem, but then I don't go climbing with my G1. There are these lens wraps you can buy, which as I recall have hook and loop closures. I expect you could swaddle the camera in one of those and it might give you some cushioning.

Thanks. That might work. I've always enjoyed a bit of swaddling now and again.
