Hi!

What is your experience of shooting Tmax 400 @ ISO 1600?

Do you like it? Hate it? Contrast? Grain?

If there is an old thread about this then i suck at searching on this forum😛

It looks pretty decent. Develop in Tmax Developer, it is the best developer for pushing the Tmax films.

Here's one I shot at 1600 on TMY-2 and developed in Tmax Developer using Kodak's recommended time for pushing to 1600.

Light was pretty harsh, all from one side, but it held detail in the highlights and shadows fairly well.

I love Tmax400-2 . It's been pretty successful for me anywhere from 125-1600.
As Chris mentions use the Tmax Developer and follow the Kodak recommendations for adjusting development.
At least as a starting point.

You did not ask for one but here is a sample held back to iso100 using Tmax400-2 in TmaxDeveloper.
