to Frank re Zorki-Fed preference . ..or not !

Hi Frank and evryone .

Just received no less than three Feds which I am told are Fed 2c , from blyatnikov.
Bought as set in green / blue / maroon , supposed to be original , but the maroon is a repaint .

But , i prefer them to my Zorki S and Zorki 1 , OOPS !
I even like the chrome , which bothers me on the Zorki 6 .

All are really smooth to wind on , but two of the i 26s are waxed up - can't fix it myself - ''dee's praxia '' as well as ''dee's orientation '' !!

But they look better with ! 22s , so my ''Elmar '' pretender has been borrowed from a Zorki 1 ''Leica !

I was unsure of the combined range/viewfinder of the Z6 , but the Feds seem OK.
Small and neat , my three cost £63 all inclusive , so I won't be complaining about the repaint !

My ASDee needs several safe ''toys'' to ground me , and at around £15 + shipping , the Fed 2s seem to be the perfect , affordable , affable , ''bulk buy '' therapy - heck of a lot cheaper than Leica IIIc's !

Thanks for your interest everyone - keeping me just this side of sanity, that is , Leica / FSU sanity - which seems different from others expectations !!

That's next on my list - but they seem big and heavy ? Many swear by them .. but just as many seem to swear AT them !

....as you say another experience ! - and as I like ID stolen faux-Leica Zorkis, my credence is zero !!!
