The best camera is one that still works!
Stay safe!
Currently 42deg C where I am in SE Qld but NSW small towns are all on high alert with several being evacuated as they suffer temps in the high forties with gusty winds. There are already something like seventy fires burning across the state apparently. Hopefully by the time this situation returns to normal no lives will have been lost.

Super hot here in Brissy, mowed the lawn early and now standing in a rather large paddling pool as it fills up. The problem is the water out of the tap/tank is already over 30 degrees. Beers will be coming out soon!
Stay safe and keep your film cool!

Yesterday here in Western Sydney we hit 46.9. Friday I was playing golf in 44... even driving a cart I drank 8 x 600ml water, plus 2 powerade, and still got dehydrated. It was 'intense'.
Hopefully the dingbats who light fires stay indoors. I see they arrested a teenager for a grass fire yesterday.
Today the cool change has come through which I presume lowers the fire danger as well.

Thanks Keith. OK here in Sydney with a late cooler change but it's a different story out west:
Meteorologists were predicting NSW would set a state-wide record for February warmth during the current heatwave but few would have tipped the mark would be broken two days in a row.
The blast of summer heat has placed south-eastern Australia on the map as the hottest place on the planet.
