Hi,
I'm very tempted by this lens, to be used with my Nikons (FE and F3), I can get one for little more than 100 Euros.

Anyone can give me an advice?

Thanks!
Roberto.

I haven't used that specific Tokina lens, so no direct experience.

But I am using the AT-X SD 80-200/2.8 and 100-300/4, and they are great lenses and phantastic value. They are very well built. Also, there is a flickr group on Tokina lenses here:

including tags for the lens you are interested in.

Best,

Roland.

Thanks Roland,
I read that it may have flare issues, but I'm still unable to find pictures from it.. I'm not quite familiar with flickr..

I haven't used that particulait lens either but I have used a few of the ATX pro's and in my humble opinion they are bargains if used carefuly.
Most of them fall short of top end nikkors in distortion, abberation and sharpness in the extreme conditions but when stopped down and used with a bit of care they are very well built, sharp and extremely rugged.
