Asakusa..right? Beatuful pics! What was the shutter speed?

Were there many people there?

Hi,

Yes, it's Asakusa at night.
There were lots of people there at around 10pm,
there for the worship.

All shots were taken handheld at about 1/15 or 1/30, ISO 200.

Cheers,
Manfred

When were you in Japan? We were there in September: Tokyo (for Sumo tournament), Kyoto, Lake Tateshina, Nagano, Hakuba, and Osaka. Went to the Leica Gallery in Tokyo in the Ginza area-did you get there? Very nice shop and gallery upstairs. I brought my MP and one of my M3 cameras, with C/V 28f3.5 and Leitz 50 f2 Summicron.

I was in Japan in early December 2007. Gosh, that was last year!!!
You went so many places . . . I also went to Leica Shop in Ginza.
Indeed very lovely store. Did you notice the Titanium Leica MP set?
I had not seen that listed anywhere on the internet before.

I went to Nikko, Kinugawa, Hakone Yumoto, and of course shopping in Tokyo.

Some goods spots for photo were:
(1) Kinugawa
(2) Lake Ashi
(3) Ueno Park
(4) etc etc

Cheers, Manfred.
