Toronto Dealer Question...

I am wondering if any of my Torontorian friends know of this dealer...

I have bought a lens from them and it is in very good condition so I am a satisfied customer. Just wondering if they are a known entity, big dealer, or if I was just lucky.

I don't know him but I've been following his listings with interest. He puts up some really nice stuff and seems legit. Glad to hear someone give him a thumb's up -- now I'll really be tempted!

I too have been watching a lot of his gear - sometimes I think it's "overpriced" per se but at other times I think "hmmmm.. that's not half bad"

Usually I'm more apt to think the latter than the former merely because I know that on Ebay, if you're buying, you're at the will of the seller and like anything, sometimes you pay a bit more but get a better quality item for those extra $$.

I've inquired, but they're always just a bit too expensive. A good local guy to watch for, is "Ron Anger" aka "anger007", most large fmt stuff, but the occasional Leica body/lense passes thru his hands. Very honest in his descriptions, so you'll get user condition stuff cheap. I got my 35/3.5 Elmar from him... it was pretty cheap.

Another good guy to watch for, is "55andbetter". He's usually used the camera's he's trying to sell.
