Hello all. Francisco made his visit one week before the heat wave. He looked like he had a splendid visit.

A local Tex-Mex restaurant. Although, there sign reads Mex-Tex.

On the following he is either chimping the wrong side of the camera or changing lenses on a 6TTL.

One more from an East Side neighborhood.

One more for the road. Little City coffee shop.

Wow, Andrew... I didn't notice or heard anything while I was switching lenses. And it was already hot, folks... it felt like the heatwave was there already! 😱

I still haven't sent my film out to the lab. Right after landing back home I had only one day to get ready for a short story class I'm teaching. It meets four times a week, for 2:45 hours, from 2 to 4:45 PM. Grueling schedule... but at least it's spent indoors, during part of the hottest time of the day.

To continue the note on another topic: I got my official letter and I'm now a tenured associate professor, that is to say: I got promoted and got a raise. I felt so well I went and bought an IROOA hood for my M3! 🙂

That's one of my quietist cameras. I can still use it in the classroom without drawing much attention.

If the weather cools down, I'll print the roll from the Canon P. There are two from the Capitol Dome that I hope turned out.
