I just looked over two current issues of magazines I subscribe to which have great photography related stories. National Geographic, as usual, check out the photo essay about Cuba, Kansas, and Sports Illustrated. This issue is SI's celebration of 50 years of sports photography. In the famous photo of Muhammad Ali standing over Sonny Liston I noticed for the first time the photographers and their cameras across the ring from where Neil Leifer was shooting. This was in 1965, and amoung the cameras used by the sports photographers were SLRs, yes rangefinders, but also I count 2 Rolleiflexs. I have seen this photograph many times and never noticed this before. I guess you do see something new all the time in things that are familiar to you.
