Just started using a Leica IIIf and made these to make it easier. Fixture for cutting long leader is aluminum and using an exact #11 blade I do not cut into it. Would be nice to have it hard anodized but expensive. Thin cover for back of SB001 finder is made from delrin and now the back of the finder will not scratch my glasses.

Nice going. I love DIY work.

How easy to work (drill, cut, etc) is delrin ???

Where do you get the stock ???

I am a machinist so most any materials are easy to work with for me.
If you do not have a lathe making it would be difficult, it is like a hard plastic. It drills and cuts easily and is very stable. Available at suppliers like McMaster-Carr.
The ring is a slight press fit on the finder so it can be taken off easily if needed. Thanks

Very Impressive ...Lovely !

I'm jealous of your Ingenuity , the most DIY for me has been taking off and replacing M Body or Barnack skin

Well Done, Enjoy the fruits of your Labour 😉
