I listed my Ultron 35 1.7 on ebay but I can't see it in the listings. Has anyone got an ideaas to why this might happen?

go to the classifieds, it tell you there. the fees are a LOT lower. $5 listing fee, no final value fees. Honest buyers who are your RFF friends!

It usually takes up to one hour before a new auction gets picked up by the various caches.

Yes, it takes some time before it actually shows up unless you schedule it before... The worst case for me was that I had to wait until next morning to actually see my item listed!!!

I had one listing take four hours to appear. Not bad when you consider eBay charges the five day listing flat fee then trims four hours off. I complained and they just told me it was normal practise and happens with all new listings! 🙄
