Now I do not remember altering the shutter speed before winding on but it's possible.
So I can't change the shutter speed on my Zorki 4. It's stuck at about 1/500th.
I can still take pictures, wind on and use the camera.
The little dial that you lift up is stuck fast. But it still rotates when winding on.
Is it fixable?

I once had trouble with a zorki 4k on which I couldn't change the speeds.
I don't know whether I read it on the web or made it up, but I managed to get it working by inching the wind lever forward in tiny amounts by moving the winder forward for one click - of that series of clicks they make when winding on and letting it go back quite a way and repeating this until the shutter was cocked and fired it. I repeated this a lot and was slowly able to get the shutter dial to lift and turn to the next speed. I repeated the whole process going through the full range of speeds a number of times and eventually the whole thing worked properly again. The dial started off very stiff and loosened over the time.
