I recently purchased a Universal Bellows (1) kit with Visoflex 1 and 135mm Hektor short mount lens. I assembled the parts and could not focus on anything. After some research I discovered that the bellows was fitted with extension tube DOORX, rather than the proper VOOVH to take the Hektor. Indeed, the DOORX is used to couple a lens to an enlarger. How it got to the Bellows I do not know. So I found what I thought was a proper VOOVH, only to discover that it apparently won't fit my lens. Then I discovered that the extension tube I found is part number 16580L rather than simply 16580, with no L suffix. Looking ever deeper, I can find no reference to the L part, but it will not couple to my Hektor. What's more, I find that the lens, SN# 1085667, may be too early to work with this set-up and would have to be returned to the factory for modification. Any thoughts?

Sorry about your situation. I don’t have an answer for you.
However, I must say, I use my Leica rangefinder cameras as rangefinder cameras. No attachments to make any of them work like an SLR.
I do have a couple of SLR cameras and they work just fine.

I have all kinds of cameras. But I've become fascinated by Barnacks and the accessories that go with them The Viso-Bellows combo is a wonderful piece of kit.

When I started with Leica around 1980, all the adapter rings were tough to find, but I managed. The hardest was mounting 125 Hector to bellows. 125, not 135. By 2000 it was impossible.
Sounds as if some of your rings are for the focus mounts for Focoslide, not bellows.
16558 should mount 135 4.5 to any bellows. Extension tube 13472 is for bellows 2 & 3
to get same close up as bellows 1. 16580 is not for anything.
