its seems that when i change iso or compression from jpeg to dng or visa versa, my user profile shows a dash instead of the previous settings. I cant seen to get the right sequence to set a compression setting with a user profile. any help appreciated

Sorry- I don't quite understand the question.If you change anything in a user setting it shows a dash until you save that particular setting in "menu- save user profile" , if that is what you mean.
