Now for my next question. Can I mix Ilfotec HC the same way I do KodaK HC-110, that is, can I mix up enough concentrate and water to do one roll at a time? I can work this way with HC-110; I use a graduated syringe to measure the concentrate into the water-to-make, use it one shot and discard it after. I would get some of the new HC-110 but I want to try the Ilford formula on Ilford film. I expose film rolls fairly slowly, so the powder mix often doesn't last long enough to do more than one roll.

Thanks to all who reply.

Yes you can Stephen. Kodak has changed the formulation of HC-110 so although I have about 750ml of syrup left, I will be moving seamlessly onto Ilfotec HC and already have a litre waiting. I use Ilford film with HC-110 so using HC is the natural progression. It is also about 1/3 cheaper so makes perfect sense. I plan to use Dilution H, just the same.

Ilford's web site contains all the technical information needed to use this developer, as does the label on the bottle. Ilford is very generous with information.
