Anyone else just use the M8 like a Hexar AF? I am pleased with the images from 35 Cron, 50 and 75 lux to not even want to fiddle with coding.
I have UV/IR filters on them (I shoot color mostly), but turn off lens detection in the menu.
Shoot mostly wide open. JPG/fine only. Have not seen vignetting with the 35, and I'm aware that the 50 and 75 don't need coding, except for EXIF info.
Oh, also use a Canon 28/2.8, and again, all is fine with no coding.

At f5.6-8 it only takes a little fiddling with the distance scale to get things in focus (28mm lens) + "A" mode (exposure lock) = my point and shoot.
