Hi all

I recently acquired a large pile of darkroom it from a friend who was leaving for a digital workflow; I was to take what I wanted and get rid of the rest.

Most of what's left is not that valuable or unusual - contact printers, easels, dev tanks - and I was about to put up an ad offering it all for free. However, whilst trying to work out what a few of the items were, it began to look like they might actually have some value. Problem is, I have no idea what they might be worth these days. There is a Jobo CPE2 processor with three drums (but not the 'lift' accessory). I see a shop in the UK selling one for £200, I also see them not selling for peanuts on eBay

There's also a Durst DES100 Color Analyzer - this has a very old price tag on it reading £199.99(!) - and a Durst universal darkroom LED lamp.

Anyone able to tell me if these have any real value any more, or if in these digital days they are just outdated curiosities?

Thanks,
Jamie

PS - Mods - this is not an attempt to circumvent buying an ad, just an attempt to establish value. If it does turn out this is worth selling rather than giving away I will, of course, purchase an ad as usual

If it means anything as a point of reference, I paid 150 USD for a "complete" darkroom setup that included a low-end enlarger (but with an upgraded lens), developing tanks and reels, printing accessories, trays, paper safe, electric timer, etc etc. The seller was also planning to give it away free, but decided it was worth something.

The appeal of course was that it was more-or-less complete (for a beginner like me), and I felt I got a good deal. It sounds like you have some particular items (the Jobo processor) that might be of real interest, and you would be better off selling those individually.
