I have a potential source for looks like dozens of rolls of Velvia 50.

I'm not sure now hard to find this discontinued film has become.

How much does the market bear per roll nowadays?

According to Fuji it's going to be re-relased first quarter '07.

Unless your need is immediate you may want to wait for new production runs with fresh dating.

Just my opinion........

I bought fresh dated 35mm Velvia 50, expires 12/2007, yesterday as a matter of fact. I paid camera store list price which seemed high. I bought expired, 2004, 120 Velvia 50 for half of retail price. The film had been stored in a cooler in a camera store so I figure the expired stuff should be ok.

I figure if the new Velvia 50 isn't 110% of the original, or somehow better, there may be a run on the original. My skills won't know the difference. I'll be excited for fresh 120 Velvia 50 no matter what it looks like.

I have some 220 Velvia film, the ISO 50 kind, stashed away in my freezer. I guess it's time to burn it now.

Unless anyone's interested on it... It's been frozen since purchase (about 2 years ago, from a camera store where it was for sale after it expired).

Why not shoot it? Otherwise, "Let's make a deal?"
