Just bought a CLAd VeriWide 100 (the original one piece unit) from another RFF member. Great shape.

Research on straps gives conflicting info, some calling for Rollei straps, some Mamiya. Ordered both B (Rollei) and A (for smaller lugs) fittings from OpTech. Both fit but slip off -- the mushroom head on the camera strap lugs slips out.

Google Images shows the Rollei Scissors straps (which look like the appropriate ones) and two Chinese suppliers of OpTech-like straps, but without dimensions.

I've double-checked the OpTeach installation video; I think I'm doing it right?

Any pointers? to supply or installation?

I'm hot to shoot it but don't want to take it out wo a strap.

Thanks.

Thanks, JSU.

I hadn't thought of that; I'll keep it in mind if I can't find something smaller. It looks functional.

Thanks again for the help. I found it on Fotodiox and am posting that here for any future searchers. It was the only one with a photo showing the right attachment type other than "original" Rollei straps asking $80 or so.
Cheaper on eBay than when same is sourced directly from Fotodiox -- in the mid $30s.

I have the 'proper' Rollie scissor strap for that camera if you want.. would sell for like $40.00 I guess. Personaly though I would never trust using my Veriwide with those small lugs. They really are way too flimsy in my opinion. What you really want is the original leather case for the VW and then you can use the bottom half totally secure. PM me if you want the rollie strap.. I will try to upload a photo later today.
