Sorry for the poor quality of thes photos. I needed an extra pair of hands. They show the R4 VF with 21/4 (old style) and the 35/2.5 lenses mounted on the camera. The difference in size is due to the sensitive zoom control on the digital P&S I was using. The first photo shows the CV 21/4. It intrudes into the 21 frame a little. The second photo shows the CV 35/2.5. It is a little larger than the 21/4 and is more visible in the VF, but does not intrude into the 35 frame.

Mike

my R4A had arrived down under and its the same view for my Nikkor 20mm AIS (nikon F) lens using the Cameraquest adapter. It has a 52mm filter size. I think - never mtd a filter to it yet, it is coated well.

Same view as what? The second of the two pictures?

Carzee- I've never heard of a Voightlander adaptor for using Nikon F mount lenses on a Leica m mount. If this is true- WHOA Nelly! I have a lot of very nice glass.

I don't see such an adaptor on Stephen Gandy's site.
