Hi Sem,
out of my experiences with this magnifier I would recommend it fot the RD1.
It`s a bit odd to screw it on and off when changing lenses but it`s very useful for 50mm or longer lenses.
When they ask you via email for what camera you will use it, please tell them Nikon D70 od D80, never commit any use with the RD1 or Leicas.

Works fine for me & was certainly worth the cost for helping w/focusing the Noctilux.
