I know... I know...
But still.
you know when you got a 50+ yo M camera in such a state that you think it would be criminal to be responsible for the first scratch?
In the past I had a few pre-cut transparent vinyl covers for the leica M top and base plates, but I can't seem to find them anymore (they were from Aki I think)

Any suggestions about the material I could use for that?

thanks

Nothing says "Olde Money" and "Classe" like a beautiful, wood covered camera. The beauty below also features tasteful gold accents!.

My personal choice would be to go w/ fur or feathers, but flattened bottle caps might be festive. The fur would surely be a PITA to procure, but the parks are full of birds. All you need then is some Elmer's glue and a Barbie jacket (or Ken jacket, as the case may be) for the now featherless biped.
