Hello Photographers,
anyone of you know how to attach a strap to the Vito B camera?
The lugs look a bit like the ones of a Hasselblad.
Any expirience?

to me they look like made for special attachments on strap, sliding into slot.

btgc is right, that's what they are. Voigtländer used those on a bunch of models. A case of looks trumping functionality IMO, I never trust them. Well worth it to get a (half) case if you don't already have one.

You might be able to fashion makeshift strap clips out of paper clips or you could bend to suit standard triangular clips. That's what I did.

Could Steve at Cameraquest help? He has Voigtlander products, perhaps a strap?

During that period of time there was a strap made that screwed into the bottom of the camera into the tripod mount. One way of making a makeshift strap is to take a camera strap with a string end and tie it around a screw that fits the tripod screw mount in the bottom.

I have a plastic Nikon neck strap fitted to my BL - the strap has gapless slots in it for the lug/pin (twist the strap to open the gap, slide over the lug, and it's fitted). However a half case is a more elegant solution.

If you go on the large auction site there are currently some of those vintage camera straps for sale, also screw mount lugs with rings. Just type in: Screw Mount Camera Strap.

German Voigtländer had been extinct for forty years as a company and for more than twenty years as a camera brand name when the name (and nothing beyond it) was bought by Cosina around 2000. That is about as unrelated as it can get...

I use a Gordy horizontal neck strap with a string attachment for my Vito B: never had any problems.
