Well: I've got one, and I like it. It seems very well-made and solid, focusing is lovely and firm, aperture clicks very precise. Here's an example of it wide open at 3.5, Tri-X at 800.

She's nicely separated from the busy/blurred background; looks like good contrast and sharpness, not that one can really tell at this low resolution. :) The few circular OOF highlights in the background appear to have slightly brighter rims, which seems to me characteristic of Sonnars and Nikkors. Wonder if the Lanthar has a design similarity?

I have thought about this lens alot for my CL, I think Gene has posted some examples taken with it as well. The contrast looks really good here, did you do any PS work on it or is it straight from the scan?
The only other thing I really need to know now is, Guiness Extra Stout or Youngs Chocolate Ale? (in the glass);)

The contrast on the negs is exceptional, but they scan flat, so there's always some PS.

John Shippey's West Coast Stout: right from the brewery, about 10 feet from the table.

Yes, I have this lens too and I love it. It focuses well on my CL and it's a terrific portrait lens. Very sharp!
