Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has a solution for me. I had done some 'surgery' to my Voigtlander 15mm f/4.5 III by using a hacksaw and cutting off the fixed lens blades that were the sunshade, allowing myself to use filters directly on the lens. Everything worked out well, but I believe using a variable ND filter had left a mark on the front of the lens. I took it to get cleaned, with no luck. I'm unsure if there is a more intensive cleaning that can be performed, re-surfacing the top layer of the glass.
Either way, I would like to sell this lens and do not know what the best means may be, whether it's to go through getting it fixed or selling as is and taking a loss. The lens is pretty amazing and I have already bought a replacement since this one has an ugly glare when the sun passes through the frame.
