CV has a 25 that comes in M mount. I looked through the threads and cannot tell if its the same as the 25 snapshot or something new. Regardless, does anyone have any experience with this lens good or bad with the M8?

I have the CV 25p and have been very happy with it- great edge sharpness. I would buy it if you have any use for it!

The Snapshot Skopar is thread mount and without rangefinder coupling. The new "P" version is M-mount and has the same optical formula as the old one but with the added RF coupling.

I have the old version but I'm about to sell it as I never use it. It has nothing to do with performance, the focal length just doesn't suit me.

Looking at it further the m mount pulls up the 24mm line on the M8. I am considering it rather then the $3,500 leica. I think its about 10% of the price. I could not find any photos taken with it. Flickr had some with the snapshot but not the new one. I have the voitlander 40mm and am impressed with the build quality.

I just had a shot I posted on Flickr using this lens included in the Schmap Guide to lake Tahoe. Here is the image:

I am willing to sell mine as I would prefer a 21mm for my style of shooting. The lens is ready for M8 with coding pits by John Milich. PM me if interested. Lens is LNIB.

I use the older non-RF coupled one shooting film with a M mount adapter. I really like this lens.

There is no need for the RF coupling considering it's 25mm and f4. If you cannot approximate the distance within that huge DOF, there is minimal hope for you.

Here's the kind of photos I make with it.
