Hey y'all,
I'm considering this lens and curious about the minimum focus being .58m. I have a Leica m240 and I know that the rangefinder can only focus to .7 meters.
Does this make it more difficult to use this lens?
Typically I just swing the lens to its minimum distance and then move the camera until it's lined up.
I'm assuming that technique won't work with this lens.
So, I'm really just curious to hear anyones feedback who have used a lens with a minimum focus of less that .7 and if it's annoying or hard to get used to?
Cheers!
Ben

It's a tiny bit annoying. I've adapted by swinging the focus scale to .7 and then moving in/out whilst watching the rf patch in the viewfinder. Not a big deal and I got used to it pretty quick.

I should note that I have used the .58 minimum distance a few times as well. Guesstimated, and worked out well.
