My first camera, a Lumix GF1, got a big lift from my VC 50mm f/1.1, and so has my career as a beginner photo journalist/ non fiction writer. My first submitted photos and article on boxing landed on the front page of a regional weekly paper. Thank you Cosina Voigtländer, for the pleasure of looking at the world through your lens. http://www.valleyadvocate.com/article.cfm?aid=16381

Excellent, serene image, Sara (and good article, too). Congratulations. (My pop was a boxer.)

While boxing is totally alien to me (not a big sport in the Netherlands, despite the international success of K1 fighters), I can spy a good article when I read one!

Great story, pleasurable read! Nice shot too!

Thanks for sharing, I hope there'll be more where that came from!

Well done Sara!

That's great. I have to ask for all the Noctilux snobs: Did the editors complain you only spent $1000 on the Nokton instead of spending $11,000 on the Leica 50/.095 Noctilux ?

how odd. imagine someone taking pics, then actually going out and selling their story to a magazine..... instead of endlessly obsessing if there is a better lens out there, for pics they have not yet taken or tried to market!
