voigtlander lens and leica

Hello,

I have a simple and perhaps dumb question, when you put a M mount voigtlander lens on a leica, for example a 35mm 2.5 on a M6, do the frames on the viewfinder appear? Or you have to buy one external viewfinder?

Welcome to the forum !

There are several versions of the 35/2.5. The older LTM lens needs a 35/135 LTM/M adapter to bring up the right frame-lines on the M6.

The newer 35/2.5 PII M-mount lens (with Bayonet shade) will work perfectly and bring up the right frame-lines.
