Using a LTM-F adapter, can you mount the thread mount Voigtlander Skopar-Snapshot 25/4 and Heliar 15/4.5 on F mount Nikon film SLR bodies with Mirror Lock Up?
Can they focus to infinity?
Any recommended adapters?

I already have both lenses with finders and use them on the Bessa-L.

Thanks,

The other way around. Use Nikon UW's on your Bessa L if you can find the adapter.

Flange to film for Leica L is 28.8mm and Nikon F is 46.5mm.

Those LTM-F adapters are for mounting the camera on a microscope or telescope that uses the Leica M39 thread, or any other device with an LTM mount.

Flange focal distance

FYI... here is one reference table...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flange_focal_distance

Aaaahhhh...
Now I get it.
Never paid attention to this factor because I never adapted legacy lenses to legacy cameras before.
I did try a few legacy MF lenses on my Sony NEX-7 (e-mount APS-C) years ago but found that the AF Sony-Zeiss lenses I have were a better experience and produced better quality images.

F-Mount (46.5mm) on e-mount (18mm) works because 46.5>18mm.
LTM (28.8mm) on F mount (46.5mm) doesn’t work because 46.5<28.8mm.

If I understand correctly, please tell me if I’m wrong:
If an LTM->F adapter were to be built (and MLU was used) the lens body would extend inside the mirror box and the aperture and focus rings would either be inaccessible inside the box or in some cases they could be larger than the lens mount ring and consequently not fit inside the box.

Thank-you, I was wondering why they exist if not for standard 35mm LTM lens -> F body.
