Before I dive in and pull the top off my cameras, is there anyone out there that have cleaned their Voigtlander Prominents?
I just developed a roll of film from one- taken this summer. It's very pretty, and now I understand what all the fuss is about (how pretty the pictures vs. how much of a pain the camera can be to work well) and would like to optimize my little beasts a bit.
I also have one who's second shutter doesn't always open all the way (the protective shutter, that is) and is slow to move, meaning that the substance that was once grease is more like a thin wax now, and I'd like to replace it.
Any experience, anyone?
The attached picture was taken with the 50mm f/2 Ultron with an orange filter on it, during the fall. Sharp, contrasty, and very gentle. I gotta use it more.
