Sorry for the cross post - I put this in classifieds wanted too - but I figure if there's anyone who might have this then they'll likely be here!
Any ex-R-D1 users here who transition to the M8 and no longer need the RD specific viewfinder for the 15mm ?

A standard 21mm VF should be pretty much on the money with that lens on an R-D1.

Thanks - yes I've been using the 21mm finder with my M8 but now I'm looking to sell the 15mm to a friend who has an Epson (I have a WATE so don't need it any more). The RD finder apparently is a better fit for the Epson's sensor dimensions - not that it matters that much really. I never really used it with my Epson so didn't bother getting the RD finder when they were available (doh!).

I used my 15 a couple of times on my RD1 and the 21mm finder works fine. I used a Leica and also a Contax. Like the framelines in the cameras, they're a little tight for their intended lens, so I didn't really need to be careful to compose with a little room inside the lines. The 15 is a 22.5 on the RD1.
