2) go to PHOTOS

3) choose Vivian Maier Contest Finalists from the pull down menu

4) you have ONE vote

Sorry if I'm being dumb, but which pull down menu? (I'm using an iPad, in case that's causing me to see something different).

Go to Gallery from top of home page. On gallery page select "Gallery Search" on top of page. Then Select "Basic Search" Then, in "Search Options", select "Category" and there is your drop down menu. Select "Vivian Maier Contest Finalist" to see the voting buttons. Then vote for me. Just kidding.
Works fine on an ipad.

Great shots there. I participated in the first round and this. (Don't want to use the v word - you'll understand...)
 
i have voted on the one i like most.
But i don't generally like VM's work.
So it might be wrong what i did...:D
 
folks - vote turn out is VERY low
please vote and make your view heard!

Any semblance to the Hillary Clinton campaign getting out the vote is completely coincidental,
and very SAD.

... just cast my vote.
Not necessarly for a shot in Vivian M. style but for ashot that I have already seen in the gallery before and it impressed me. Sadly also the participation in gallery posts as well as the weekly picks of the gallery have slowed to a measly trickle. I guess people are used to post on social media by just a click of a button and the posting process here might already be too cumbersome for folks.

two rounds

initial and finalist - which is now

unfortunately anyone editing their pics in the finalist category knocks them out of the finalist category due a software glitch
I will ask the tech to reinstate that pic

It was difficult... there were so many beautiful images it was hard. But I did it and I'm sure the winner will know how to use that Rolleiflex. Thanks a lot, Stephen!
 
Great photos, but they are not very Vivian Maier-ish in my opinion, sorry.

A lot look very "Tony Ray-Jones" though.
